Den/Pack Rules

Den/Pack Rules:

• Class A uniforms (shirt, neckerchief & slide) are to be worn to all den/pack meetings unless otherwise specified.

• Parent or guardian must bring the scout to the den meeting room. NEVER EVER drop your scout off in the driveway or parking lot!!

• Respect fellow Scouts and Leaders at all times.

• NO running in the halls at any time.

• NO playing with the gym equipment before or after the Pack meeting.

• DO NOT wander onto other halls OR into other classrooms. Scouts must stay on the third floor at all times.

• Respect church property at all times. If it does not belong to the Cub Scout Pack, then it is not ours to play with.

• NO horse playing of any type at any time.

• Keep your hands and other objects to yourself.

• Use the “Buddy System” every time you leave your den meeting room. Two parents must accompany boys to the rest room – no exceptions!

• NO FIGHTING – fighting will result in automatic suspension from the Pack for one month.

• NO electronic devices (games, CD players, DVD players) in den meetings, pack meetings or camping trips. Electronic devices can be brought on camping trips for the ride to and from the outing only. Electronic devices will be confiscated and returned at the end of the den/pack meeting or camp outing.

Consequences:

• 1^st offense – Verbal warning

• 2^nd offense – Time out in the hall for 5 minutes

• 3^rd offense – Scout cannot participate in the den activity and Parent/Leader conference

• 4^th offense – Parent must attend the next 2 den meetings with the scout and parent and scout will complete all den activities together

• 5^th offense – Parent will be required to attend ALL pack and den meetings and outings with the scout for the remainder of the scouting year

If you are caught running in the halls or horse playing at any time:

• 1^st offense – Verbal warning

• 2^nd offense – Scout/Parent/Leader conference

• 3^rd offense – Parent must walk with the scout at all times – this will include drop off and pick up for the remainder of the scouting year

(Please note: Tiger cubs MUST be accompanied by their adult partner at all times. It is desirable to have a parent attend each den meeting with Wolves, Bears and Webelos.)
